Shandy o'clock in The Times

Even though it's happened a few times now, we as a team still find a little surreal seeing our cans sitting pretty in one of the nation's most popular publications. That was no different the other week when we discovered that legendary The Times critic Jane MacQuitty MBE had decided to include Shandy Shack Rhubarb Lager in her top 12 low-alcohol drinks on Saturday 19 August 2023.

The Barbs Largs (as it's fondly known by our team) was in stellar company as it lined up along household names Brewdog, Beavertown and Rekorderlig. Jane described the 'pink, rhubarb & custard-styled 2.5 per-center' as 'surprisingly summery and refreshing'. We can't argue with that!
