Proper Shandy? Telegraph selects Shack as real deal
After being approached by those big bad wolves at Heineken to cover the launch of their Foster's Proper Shandy (yes, Heineken owns Foster's - who knew!), Telegraph beer writer Melissa Cole was wondering what other (ahem, better-quality) shandies might be out there, and stumbled into the Shack.
After a quick phone call, we charged out of the front door quicker than Bart Simpson after a long day at Springfield Elementary School and cycled some samples round to her East London abode.
We were chuffed to discover a couple of days later that she had taken a shine to the shandies, so much so that she decided to feature them in her piece published online on the Telegraph's website on 14th February - Valentine's Day.
